Disability Advocacy
Disability advocacy is about ensuring that people with disability are heard, respected, and included in all aspects of society in Vanuatu. It focuses on promoting equal rights, removing physical and social barriers, and challenging attitudes that limit opportunity or dignity. At its core, disability advocacy supports choice, independence, and self-determination, empowering individuals to speak up for themselves while also driving systemic change in policies, services, and communities so everyone can participate fully and fairly.

Disaster preparedness for persons with a disability in the Pacific focuses on inclusive planning, accessible early warnings, and community-based support systems that recognise local cultures and ensure no one is left behind during emergencies.
